Case Study 02 · Luxury · Fine Jewelry · Full Marketing Partnership

Full-stack marketing partnership for a luxury jewelry brand — strategy, systems, creative, and web.

illi Collection is a fine jewelry brand whose first commercial deal — a 700-piece commission tied to Ritz-Carlton Reserve Dorado — landed during the engagement. I engineered the full marketing operation end-to-end — strategy, content and social systems, editorial creative production, the website rebuild, and the business development materials that turn commercial visibility into named commercial invitations.

The context

illi Collection is a luxury fine jewelry brand operating in a register very few brands earn — architectural design, lab-grown diamonds, considered production, private collector clients.

The engagement was full-stack. I owned the marketing strategy, the content and social systems, the editorial creative production, the website rebuild, and the business development materials. Every workstream needed to hold to the same luxury register and connect through a single integrated operating model.

The brief was total: build the marketing operation this brand deserves, running through one operator plus an agentic AI stack — without a fragmented vendor model.

What I built

Three interlocking pieces.

  • CalendarA Google Sheet as the source of truth. Each row is a post: image reference, caption, hashtags, publish time, status. The founder can approve or override any row; if untouched, it publishes on schedule.
  • SourcingA Pinterest pipeline. Make.com scenarios pull candidate images from illi's curated boards and let Claude write context-appropriate captions in illi's voice. Weekly review replaces daily scrolling.
  • PublishingA Make.com scenario (5117223) that reads the sheet, publishes to Instagram at scheduled times, updates row status, and logs to a "used images" sheet so nothing repeats.

The system produces posts that read as considered luxury content because the inputs are considered — the Pinterest boards, the voice document, the approved caption templates. AI executes; taste is upstream.

The creative slate

Beyond Instagram automation — the full creative production pipeline for illi's editorial and campaign work.

  • Editorial imageryNano Banana for still editorial photography — including illi-collection.com's live hero portrait and the Round-cut Diamond Tennis lookbook.
  • MotionGoogle Flow + Veo for short-form video, brand-consistent product motion.
  • RepurposingOpus Clips for long-form-to-short repurposing across YouTube and social channels.
  • Concept directionMulti-model image and video pipeline producing platform-native creative at scale, all directed against illi's luxury register.

Selected pieces are featured on the Studio page.

The web presence

Redesigned and rebuilt illi-collection.com end-to-end using the same agentic AI stack.

  • ArchitectureFull site architecture, information hierarchy, and navigation designed from scratch.
  • CopyProduct descriptions, collection narratives, brand story pages, and origin story authored through Claude with codified brand voice references.
  • VisualsEvery image on the site — hero, product, editorial, brand story — generated or upscaled through Nano Banana. Iterated through Claude and Gemini for direction.
  • CostZero external design or dev spend. One operator, one AI stack, one integrated site.

Business development

The agentic infrastructure isn't just for content — it produced the pitch materials that turned visibility into commercial invitations.

  • First commercial dealPositioning materials and outreach that produced the brand's first commercial deal — a 700-piece bespoke commission from Puerto Rico's largest family-owned luxury hospitality developer (Ritz-Carlton Reserve Dorado in portfolio) for Georgetown University's John Carroll Weekend alumni gathering, April 2026.
  • Meta campaign briefInstagram credibility campaign strategy authored end-to-end via Claude — pre-PURE positioning, engagement-optimized targeting, three-phase architecture across July foundation, August acceleration, and September retargeting, all designed against a $1,500–$2,000 budget.
  • Target marketsPitch materials and brand positioning for PURE Life Experiences (Morocco, September 2026) — elite hospitality outreach.
  • International speaking pipelineMaterials supporting Impactiv Dubai (June 2026) and adjacent luxury hospitality invitations.

How it operates in practice

Every Sunday, Claude drafts the coming week's posts into the sheet — image, caption, hashtags, timing. The founder reviews Monday morning, adjusts anything that doesn't feel right, and the week runs itself. If a partnership post needs to slot in — a commission, an event — she drops it into the sheet with a priority flag and the scenario handles the rest.

The founder has never opened the Instagram app to publish a post since the system went live.

What this proves

That AI-native systems are not a replacement for taste — they're a way to scale taste. The bottleneck for most luxury brands isn't ideas or budget; it's the coordination overhead of a fragmented vendor model — the ten contractors, the brand drift, the integration gaps between social manager, web dev, creative director, and copywriter.

When one operator holds the full stack and directs an agentic AI to execute the layers, that coordination overhead disappears. What emerges is brand consistency at a level a fragmented team could never match — at a speed and cost that fundamentally changes what a luxury brand can afford to build.

For any luxury founder whose marketing has been stalled by the sheer coordination cost of running it — this is the answer.
